Campfire French Toast

This tasty recipe uses a sandwich iron over an open fire. The kids love it.

Preparation Time:

2 eggs
½ cup milk
cinnamon sugar

Grease the inside of each sandwich maker with butter or oil.

Whip the milk and eggs together and sprinkle some cinnamon sugar into the mix to your personal taste.

Dip the bread in the milk and egg mixture, one dip on each side, and then place a slice inside the buttered sandwich cooker. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and then place a second soaked slice of bread on top.

Close the cooker and let sit on the coals five minutes or so, then turn and cook five minutes more. Check to see if it’s done.
